Desert Heartbreaker is an original abstract artwork that brings together the bold colors and visual energy of the American Southwest with contemporary geometric design.
 
Turquoise, deep red, black, and touches of pink move through sharp angles, sweeping curves, intersecting lines, and fragmented shapes. There is a push and pull throughout the composition—something energetic, emotional, and a little unpredictable—which inspired the name Desert Heartbreaker.
 
The turquoise and red palette draws inspiration from the colors I associate with New Mexico and the Southwest, while the strong black forms give the piece structure and contrast. Rather than representing a specific object or landscape, the design leaves room for the viewer to discover their own shapes, movement, and meaning within it.
 
Desert Heartbreaker is part of my continuing exploration of Southwestern abstract art, combining geometric forms, contemporary design, and desert-inspired color into a style that is distinctly my own.
