What size are your memorial urns?

Our standard adult memorial urns hold 200 cubic inches, making them suitable for most adults. If you have questions about sizing, feel free to contact us and I'll be happy to help.

Are your urns handmade?

Yes. Every urn begins with a high-quality black urn that I personally prepare with a unique textured finish. I then handcraft and attach an original art panel, creating a one-of-a-kind memorial that celebrates the life of your loved one.

Is every urn one of a kind?

Yes. Every design is individually created by hand. While I can create similar styles, no two urns are exactly alike.

Can I customize an urn?

Absolutely! Customization is one of my specialties.

I can create:

Can you create an urn from a photograph?

Yes. If you have a favorite photograph, pet, landscape, or meaningful image, I can often incorporate those ideas into a custom memorial design.

How long does it take to receive my urn?

Most completed urns ship within 1–3 business days.

Custom orders typically require a little additional time depending on the complexity of the artwork, but I'll always keep you updated throughout the process.

Do you ship throughout the United States?

Yes. I carefully package every urn and ship throughout the United States so it arrives safely. I can also ship outside the US but additional shipping fees apply.

What if my urn arrives damaged?

Although it's rare, if your urn is damaged during shipping, please contact me immediately with photos of the packaging and urn. I'll work quickly to make it right.

What is your return policy?

I want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase.

If you're not happy with your urn, you may return it within 30 days for a 100% refund of the purchase price, minus the original shipping costs.

Are your urns suitable for human ashes?

Yes. My standard memorial urns are designed to hold the ashes of an adult and include a secure closure for safe storage. Each urn also comes with a plastic bag for ashes to put in before placing in the urn box.

Do you create pet memorial urns?

Yes! I also create beautiful custom memorial urns to honor beloved pets. Whether you would like a dog, cat, horse, bird, or another cherished companion represented, I can design something meaningful.

Can I request specific colors?

Of course.

If you'd like a different urn color, background, art panel, or color palette, I'm happy to customize your memorial so it reflects your loved one's personality.

Who creates the artwork?

Every memorial urn is personally designed, painted, assembled, inspected, and packaged by me. This isn't a factory product—it's a handcrafted work of art created with respect for the loved one it honors.

About Our Product Photos

At New Mexico Urns, I use a combination of real studio photographs, work-in-progress photos, and AI-enhanced images created with Google Gemini to showcase my artwork in the best possible light. These enhanced images help present the urns in beautiful, realistic settings while accurately representing the design, colors, and overall appearance.

Because every screen displays colors a little differently and handcrafted artwork naturally has subtle variations, I understand you may want a closer look before purchasing.
