Desert Frequency is an original abstract artwork inspired by the color, rhythm, and visual energy of the American Southwest.
Bold turquoise, deep red, black, and white move through a composition of sharp geometric forms, intersecting lines, and patterned details. The shapes seem to transmit energy across the artwork—almost like a visual signal moving through the desert—which inspired the name Desert Frequency.
The turquoise and earth-inspired palette reflects my connection to New Mexico and Southwestern design, while the strong geometric forms give the piece a distinctly contemporary character. Small patterned elements add another layer of detail, creating a meeting point between modern abstraction and the visual textures of the Southwest.
For me, Desert Frequency is about movement, energy, rhythm, and connection. It doesn't tell the viewer exactly what to see. Instead, the shapes and colors allow each person to discover something different within the composition.
Desert Frequency is part of my continuing exploration of Southwestern abstract art, where I combine bold color, geometric design, and desert-inspired influences to create original contemporary artwork.
