Momentum – Music-Driven Abstract Art Created in Procreate
Momentum is an original abstract artwork created in Procreate through my Music-Driven Abstract Line Art process.
My artwork begins with a simple idea: a blank canvas, music, and a single line. Instead of planning the finished composition, I allow the rhythm, energy, and emotion of the music to guide my hand.
In Momentum, sharp angles, sweeping curves, intersecting lines, circles, and geometric forms begin moving through one another, creating a composition that feels as though it is constantly traveling forward.
That sense of movement inspired the name Momentum.
The black-and-white line version reveals the underlying structure of the artwork. Without color, the focus shifts entirely to the relationships between the lines, shapes, negative spaces, and changing directions throughout the composition.
For me, creating this type of artwork is part drawing, part improvisation, and part meditation. I don't begin knowing exactly where the lines will take me. I follow the music and allow the composition to develop naturally.
Momentum represents movement, energy, change, and the idea of continuing forward—one line at a time.
