Heavenward – Handcrafted Blue Memorial Urn Inspired by the Mountains
Heavenward is an original handcrafted memorial urn inspired by open skies, mountain landscapes, and the peaceful feeling of looking toward something beyond the horizon.
The artwork combines a brilliant blue background with bold black linework, white highlights, and warm copper and earth-toned details. The contrast creates a contemporary abstract design while maintaining a strong connection to nature and the outdoors.
I named this piece Heavenward because the composition has a natural upward movement. The shapes and lines seem to rise through the design, while the blue surrounding them evokes an expansive mountain sky.
For a memorial piece, that upward movement can carry a personal meaning—remembrance, hope, peace, and continuing connection with someone who is no longer physically with us.
Heavenward would be especially meaningful for someone who loved the mountains, hiking, camping, wilderness, blue skies, or simply spending time outdoors.
